Shahia Food Limited Company who’s the current franchisee of Dunkin was founded in year 1986 as one of the first major chains and coffee shops that cover all regions in Saudi Arabia with primary activities to dominate selling coffees, Donuts, Bakeries and Desserts.
Shahia began to open its first store Branch at Olaya Road in Riyadh, and it was the starting point for deployment and expanded to open more stores around 650 shops spread allover Saudi Arabia covering all regions as Riyadh, Western, Eastern ,northern and southern.
Shahia seeking double digit growth through optimistic and balanced business plan to achieve growth as market trend.
Each region has its Central Manufacturing Location (CML) and Central Finishing Location (CFL) meanwhile in Shahia business plan is to add more units of CML in Riyadh & Jeddah and also CFL in southern region.
Board of Directors
Shahia follows the latest methods of corporate governance, where the Board of Directors consists of 7 members, including 2 independents and an executive member, where the Board of Directors has backgrounds at a high level of experience in business management, legal, commercial and technical affairs.
The Board also has formed number of committees to control Shahia strategic and functional operations through: The Executive Committee for the periodic review of the companys business, The Investment Committee to discuss the growth strategy and diversification of activities, The Audit Committee to control the business and run it on the right track.
The Board of Directors meets five times annually, while the committees meet at least five times annually, to enhance follow-up of relevant developments.
